「個人化醫療」及「精準醫學」的發展自一直以來為國人所期待，而精準醫學的發展乃原由人類基因體的相關研究，即是由個人的基因定序及大數據，以確認疾病與基因間的關係進行個人化醫療與疾病的預防，
而臺北榮總一直在此領域位居要角之位，如1990年推動的人類基因體計畫，北榮與陽明大學的榮陽團隊就參與其中，為人類第4號染色體千萬鹼基定序，針對人類肝癌有關疾病做出重大貢獻。
在2015年美國歐巴馬推動「精準醫療」計畫之後，各國精準醫療之風興起，而北榮更是結合醫療部門與研究能量，擴大其成果，將臨床經驗與學術整合為一，聚焦腫瘤、遺傳、基因諮詢等多個組別，並以此為基礎，
藉由門診服務為病患建立個人醫療計畫。有別於傳統醫療，臺北榮總精準醫學暨基因體中心更進一步以深厚的醫學底蘊結合AI人工智慧、基因研究等相關應用，為下一世代全球健康防護精確佈局。

LOGO設計藉由「靶心」及「基因雙螺旋」兩相結合的形象，傳達中心結合AI基因檢測、精準醫學的概念

LOGO設計以「靶心」及「基因雙螺旋」為基礎，其代表著精準、醫學、基因三者的概念，同時揭示基因體中心對於其”精準醫學”的重視，即使是相同病徵，透過基因檢測、臨床診療更可以精確的投入醫療。其次，使用藍、橘雙色作為標誌色彩，以專業(藍)與親和(橘)為本，為病友提供適切的服務。也因為臺北榮民總醫院為國家級的醫學中心，在精準醫學暨基因體中心的LOGO設計上特以粗體呈現，穩定、堅實的形象更添整體的信任感。
字體上也延續主LOGO的風格，採行黑體的字體，除了與LOGO相互呼應之外，結合基因、靶心及雙蛇的結構，讓LOGO主體更貼合臺北榮總精準醫學暨基因體中心的精神和臺北榮總「追求卓越、視病猶親」為的服務理念。

The LOGO design is based on “bull’s eye” and “gene double helix”, which represent the concepts of precision, medicine, and genes, and at the same time reveal the Center For Precision Medicine And Genomics’ emphasis on its “precision medicine”, even if the symptoms are the same, Through genetic testing and clinical diagnosis and treatment, it can be more accurately invested in medical treatment. Secondly, the use of blue and orange as the logo colors echoes the service concept of Taipei Rong Zong’s “being close to the disease”, and provides appropriate services for patients based on professionalism (blue) and affinity (orange). Also because Taipei Veterans General Hospital is a national medical center, the LOGO design of Center For Precision Medicine And Genomics is specially presented in bold. The stable and solid image adds to the overall sense of trust. The font also continues the style of the main LOGO, using bold fonts. In addition to echoing with the LOGO, the main body of the LOGO is more in line with the spirit of Center For Precision Medicine And Genomics and Taipei Veterans by combining the structure of genes, bullseye and double snakes. General Hospital’s service philosophy of “pursuing excellence and treating patients as close as possible”.
